Description

Ultrasonic Tubular Vibrating Rod | Ultrasonic Sonochemical Reactor

Equipment Introduction

The ultrasonic tubular vibrating rod, also known as immersible ultrasonic liquid processor or ultrasonic sonochemical reactor, consists of two core components: Ultrasonic Generator + Tubular Ultrasonic Vibrating Rod.

1. Standard Detailed Specifications (Mainstream Conventional Models)

Electrical Parameters

  • Nominal Operating Frequency: 20 kHz (automatic frequency tracking range: 15–28 kHz)
  • Optional Rated Output Power: 600W / 1000W / 1500W / 2000W; 1000W and 2000W are our most popular standard specifications
  • Input Voltage: AC 220V single phase; 110V version is customizable
  • Power Supply: Intelligent digital ultrasonic generator with display screen, supporting real-time adjustment of frequency, output power and operation timing
  • Operation Mode: Continuous running mode or adjustable intermittent timing operation

Mechanical Parameters of Vibrating Rod

  • Material of Horn & Vibrating Shaft: TC4 Industrial Grade Titanium Alloy with excellent acid and alkali corrosion resistance
  • Standard Outer Diameter of Vibrating Shaft: Φ40mm / Φ50mm (two mainstream standard sizes)
  • Standard overall length of vibrating rod (customizable):
    • 600W: Approx. 580 mm
    • 1000W: Approx. 720 mm
    • 1500W: Approx. 850 mm
    • 2000W: 1050–1100 mm
  • Installation Method: Immersion installation, which can be directly submerged into liquid and installed inside reaction kettles, conveying pipelines and storage tanks
  • Allowable Liquid Working Temperature: Standard version ≤80℃; customized high-temperature resistant version can withstand up to 120℃

2. Working Principle

The ultrasonic generator converts industrial-frequency alternating current into high-frequency electric energy to drive the piezoelectric transducer to produce high-frequency mechanical vibration. The TC4 titanium alloy vibrating rod generates powerful ultrasonic cavitation effect inside liquid medium. It realizes material crushing, emulsification, dispersion, active ingredient extraction, homogenization, defoaming and various sonochemical catalytic reactions.

3. Typical Application Fields

  • Biology Industry: Chinese herbal ingredient extraction, cell disruption, plant essential oil extraction
  • Chemical Industry: Nanomaterial dispersion, emulsion homogenization, biodiesel synthesis, various sonochemical reactions
  • Environmental Protection: Wastewater degradation treatment, oil-water separation
  • Food Industry: Wine aging acceleration, dairy emulsification, natural pigment extraction
  • Online Pipeline Treatment: Continuous online processing by direct insertion into fluid transmission pipelines

4. Optional Customizable Configurations

  1. High-power models are equipped with longer vibrating rods to expand ultrasonic cavitation coverage area
  2. Optional housing materials:
    • TC4 titanium alloy: Preferred for severely corrosive working conditions
    • 316L stainless steel: Cost-effective option for mild corrosive environments
  3. Sealing options: Standard atmospheric sealing structure / pressure-resistant hermetic sealing for sealed high-pressure reaction kettles
  4. Non-standard overall length customization to match reaction tanks of different volumes
