Application Case – Immersible Ultrasonic Transducers for Industrial Ultrasonic Cleaning Machines
Efficient Degreasing & Descaling of Mechanical Metal Workpieces
Company: QZ Ultrasonic Technology
Project Overview
Ultrasonic cleaning has become the preferred surface treatment solution for precision machinery manufacturing. High-power ultrasonic transducers act as core vibrating components, converting electrical energy into high-frequency mechanical vibration.
This case presents a supporting industrial ultrasonic transducer solution applied to a multi-tank continuous ultrasonic cleaning line. The system is engineered to remove sludge, grease, oxide scale and machining residues from metal flanges, valve plates, hardware parts and mechanical castings.
Target Industry: Precision machinery, auto parts, hardware processing
Contaminants for Removal: Cutting fluid, grease, oxide scale, carbon deposits, metal debris
Cleaning Medium: Water-based alkaline cleaning solution

Cleaning Equipment Structure
The customer deployed an automatic multi-stage conveyor ultrasonic cleaning system, mainly composed of:
1. Stainless steel cleaning tanks
2. Immersible ultrasonic transducer modules
3. Digital ultrasonic generators
4. Automatic conveying system
5. Rinsing and drying section
Transducers are installed on the bottom and side walls of cleaning tanks.
During operation, the cavitation effect generated by ultrasonic vibration continuously impacts workpiece surfaces to remove stubborn contaminants without damaging the precise dimensional tolerances of workpieces.

Cleaning Effect Comparison
Before cleaning: Workpieces are covered with heavy grease, rust and machining dirt. Manual cleaning and traditional washing struggle to reach blind holes, thread crevices and narrow gaps. Hidden contaminants remain, which affects subsequent assembly and surface finishing quality.
After ultrasonic cleaning: All surface contaminants are fully removed. Deep cleaning is realised inside blind holes and thread crevices. The workpiece surface stays intact, free of scratches and corrosion. Consistent cleaning results are guaranteed for mass continuous production, helping enterprises improve product qualification rate.
